This piece is a design that I came up with purely from imagination. In 2021 this piece won the Creative Native Grand Prize Award for Center for Native American Youth. It is inspired by my Apsaalooke name "Bear Medicine.' The stars represent ancestors who watch over you even within darkness. The footprints represent your imprint on the world and forging a way onward.
