5x Bellator MMA World Champion hosts annual retreat under her non-profit organization Nā Wine Toa (Women Warrior). The retreat is held in Hawaii. In order to empower women "Her foundation focuses on teaching self-defense, self-love, self-preservation, and the protection of sacred sites including our bodies." Illima and I will be collaborating on this project to raise funds by donating %100 of the profits made from these prints. The funds will go towards a scholarship for one lucky Apsaalooke woman to attend the retreat. The poem honors the lives of those who are no longer with us or deeply affected by this epidemic.
